Just one day of your volunteer time can make a huge difference. Please browse our activities, and see if anything grabs you, just spend one Saturday morning of your year on it. Look for people who can benefit from it, and tell them about it. Share it on social media and traditional media.
Or start a new activity, that you have been thinking about. If it aligns with ways the internet can bring opportunity (See https://www.internetsociety.org/resources/doc/2022/path-to-2025/) there is a whole community here who can support you – if they know about your project.
During the 2019 Internet Society Chapterthon, we supported a small community outside Mthatha in starting a Community Network.
